Introduction to lived/living experience engagement
Lived/living experience engagement can be a powerful tool for transformation in housing justice work.
Lived/living experience engagement can be relatively simple in theory but surprisingly difficult in practice. What does it mean for “people to have a say in the decisions that impact their life”? How can housing justice ensure that its work honours “nothing about us without us”?
Introduction to Lived/Living Experience Engagement supports learners to develop an understanding of the principles and practices of lived/living experience engagement in homelessness, social housing, and housing justice work. This course emphasises self-awareness, critical engagement, and the knowledge required to incorporate lived/living experience engagement in your work.
